has anyone any suggestions on how to fix basin to wooden unit, there are 2 holes in the ceramic basin, was thinking i could use these or just silicon it too unit as waste might help hold it in place

the waste does hold it , the waste nut go's on the underside of the wood unit.

Could cut a "V" shaped hole wiv a plunge router & Gum it in
