Hi all,

Any tips/tricks for making sure a 5cmx5cm square bracket (4 holes) for a sail shade mount will fix and stay fixed to a sandstone wall. I'm concerned that the stone will just crack up as the old wood structure I removed today practically fell off the wall bringing some stone down with it from around the very large screw holes used for it.

Cheers

Injection resin some threaded rod into the wall, and fix the bracket over these. You may have to drill out the existing screw holes in the bracket to accomodate the diameter of the threaded section. M8 should probably be considered minimum.
