I was verbally quoted £750 for the lead and cement to be replaced around the chimney

The final result is no lead changed or cement. Instead old lead was punned, flashbanded and a few bottles of OB1 used to repair the leak.

They then trie to make me pay the full amount direct to his personal account immediately before even inspecting the job. After a look on company house I see they had a striking off action suspended.
They say I'm covered by a 10 year guarantee but that's not going to hold of they are closing the company right ?

What do you think ? Am i mad or do this all seem fishy. What would you do ?

Before and after are attached.

Lead flashing should last about ten times as long as flashband.

Pay them a tenth of the quote.
