Flashing type

Hi all,

I am planning my roof windows, have got 4 off, 78 x 98 velux from a house conversion but need tile flashings as they have slate ones on at the moment. My tiles are 15mm thick marley moderns and I think the roof pitch will be about 23 deg.

I know the kits are either EDP kit for 25 deg + and EDW kit for 24 deg and less.

My question is if I use an EDP kit on a shallower angle would it really matter?? If it does matter, how is the EDP kit unsuitable ??
