Hi guys,

Building Regs say the flat roof skylight must be at least 150mm from the roof level. But I saw many many installations where it is much lower, up to 50 mm from the roof level.

Is it ok to make a smaller upstand?

Thanks,

It may depend on the design of the rooflight.
Your chosen product will have a fact sheet detailing minimum distances from the roof surface.
All the lanterns we fix, ask for 150mm.
