flat roof stones??

hi everyone
please help, i have a flat roof about fifthteen years old and is leaking, so i am going to refelt it but it has stones covering the roof, is there any subsitute to stones as the cats it as a litter tray and its starting to smell
through the bedroom window

An EPDM or rubber membrane, a mineral coated felt, or aluminium reflective paint

thanks for reply can the EPDM be layed over existing felt also can it be purchased at selco/wikes

No, the EPDM (or Butyl) is laid on timber decking. I have not seen it in the merchants, but if you google, quite a few suppliers come up.
