Here's a quick and easy one for somebody (hopefully!)

Looking to layt a floor screed but how do I bridge the cavity at the point where the french door are inserted?
Does that make sense?

it makes perfect sense.

if the internal leaf of masonry is still visible you need to chisel it off level with the concrete sub slab. you will then need to drop some 1200gauge polythene into the cavity trough and onto the exposed inner leaf. you can then screed as normal.

p.s do not cut off the dpc, re-lay it onto the exposed masonry.
