Hi there,

I have 2 vertical radiators about 1.8m high which are quite heavy. Too heavy to fit securely against the stud walls which is where the current radiators are. Can anyone suggest a solution or point me in the direction of where i could get some type of floor stand(s) that will support the newer heavier radiators?

Will need to be about 12-13 inches high.

Thanks

Are you sure they are too heavy to fix through to the studs or to noggins fitted between them?

With the weight of these rads, and the water inside them, they will need to be properly fixed to the wall.

Stands, if such things exist, will only stop the rads sliding downwards, but will not stop the rads falling outwards. A child mistaking the rad for a ladder, could come to a messy end.

Firmly fixed noggins, or go back to what you had before.
