Hi all,

I have recently went up to my loft (to put xmas stuff up there) and I really want to floor it.

The gap between each beam is about 14 inches and the beams them selves are about 2 inches wide.

I need advice into what material can I use to floor it with? I will be storing 'junk' (old clothes, games, books) in storage boxes which will be maximum 15 kilos each.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

If needed I am able to produce photos (my have to wait till the weekend).

Thanks

18mm chipboard would be more than adequate. You can get it tongued-and-grooved in small sheets, specifically for getting it into lofts, from B&Q

The material's OK, but the panels might be a bit big to get into your loft; they sell smaller panels of this stuff specifically for lofts, where access is difficult.
