Hello, Can someone please advise me if a flow switch is available to connect into a 15 mm pipe. I want to detect when a hot water tap is switched on and for the switch to start a pump on my DHW. as due to very long pipe runs the water is at very low pressure and quantites of water has to be drawn before hot water is available. many thanks for reading this. Sid.

The problem is that at a very low flow rate few normal switches will operate.

The normal switches turn of at about 2.5 li/min.

I think what you need is a secondary return loop especially if the pipe is delivering the required flowrate to the outlet in question. Though it may be impossible to install.
The grundfos booster (UPA15-90) switches on and off between 90-120 L/ hr.
