Flue change to exhaust via roof

I have a worcester greenstar combi boiler which the flue as is bends 90 of top of wall through a cavity wall and then discharges, I want to build a canopy where it exits.
Can I basically buy and fit a 90 degree bend so it turns upwards through the canopy roof and then discharges?

Nope, wouldn't recommend anyone do anything with regards to a boiler flue unless gas safe registered, if for no other reason than not having the correct equipment and the knowledge to use it to properly check and test the flue and boiler was running properly and safely once the work was done. Not worth the risk.
