flue pipe

Hi all

I need to route my flue pipe 5" concentric up through the roof,
have a firebird 120 combi, does anyone know if i can use twin 5" pipe from any source or do i have to buy only from firebird , all answers greatly appreciated .

I would of thought that only the Firebird flue would be acceptable, you know what the manufactures are like.

most manufacturers say only there own .limits on flue lenghth and bends etc to be considerd

You can convert the boiler to 'open flue' by removing the BF kit. Then install a conventional flue to current regulations. However ventilation will then be an issue as well as other complications such as pressure zones, data plates etc.

To keep it as a room sealed BF with vertical termination means using manufacturer's flue only.
