I have an old house with timber framed windows.
I have replaced most of the back ones with timber but tbh maintenance is a bit of a pain at my age.
I ‘experimented’ by buying one upvc ‘Residence 7’ window at the front.
I like it better than wood and want to do the rest of the front in similar.
My only prob is this…the mullion? thickness (the partition bit down the middle plus the two adjoining frames ) is 6 3/4 inch.
Does anyone happen to know who makes timber look a likey windows , flush casement, with a more narrow frame please?
I have tried evolution windows , but they are just as thick
