If you carry out a spillage test and it passes when it is closed is it NCS? Or At Risk? Some of em cannot be removed without ripping out vent altogether.

Err the Unsafe Situation book 6th edition (Gas Safe), I have now checked this. On page 47,section 6 and all sub-sections 6.3 thru to 6.6. In 6.4 it says ' Air supply ventilators for open-flued and flueless appliances, which incorporate gauzes or fly screens or are closeable' IS AR

Doesn't matter on the size of the vent could be 6ft x 6ft - if its got a flyscreen, its AR
