Focus Cant Open Bonnet

Focus 03 plate, I cant open the bonnet.
There are lots of ideas on the web, wonder if anyone on here has actualy done it. As it seems a bit involved.

No its not the cable, its the plastic 2 part thing. The key wont torn.

Soak it with WD or whatever mate and don't rush it.....when you feel like giving it a real go, depress the bonnet slightly to take the load off the catch.

After following Freddies link, I started to read though the posts & came across the one about a new key, well I have the spare (unused) & hey presto it opens it.
