My insurer has decided that they want proof that my rear seat conversion has been professionally fitted. How do I go about this when it was fitted whenI bought it? Can a garage give it a "clean bill of health" that I can pass on to my insurer?

best to speak to your insurers and ask them what would be acceptable. most will accept an engineers report from a reputable garage/automotive engineer. ford did an afterb market rear seat conversion for the courier. most main dealer parts guys should be able to confirm if it is a ford genuine part or not. if it is it should be ok.

good luck with the insurance companies. some can be a real hassle
