Hope it's okay to post here.
I just pulled up at a layby and the car stalled. It started rolling forward so I put the brakes on and they just went loose. There is liquid pouring out on the left side of the car by the wheel.

The breaks still work if I push really really hard but it's obv not safe.

I've called AA and they said they'll be an hour. Can this be fixed at road side?!?

I have an appointment at the hospital tomorrow and it's a pretty important one and I don't have any other way to get there. I've been waiting for it for 3 months for this appointment.

What are the chances of them fixing it?

None at all by the side of the road on a Sunday night. Obviously something in the hydraulics have burst. You have a dual circuit so you will always have some brakes but not enough to use it normally, they are just for emergency stopping. I can’t think what that has in connection with the car stalling though.

No chance.

That needs time to sort out. Probably new parts...

Absolutely no chance at all of a roadside fix. Likely a rigid, or flexible pipe has burst, or a calliper seal failed. You might be able to have the AA get it to an Halfords, or similar, for a repair first thing in the morning. AA will be able to advise.
