I've just fitted my new UPVC windows and will be doin gthe door in the next few days, and was wondering what the seal is thats sold as 'Frame seal'?
is it something special or just standard white silicon seal?..
as well as adding the new windows I'm moving two existing ones that have been fitted for 12 months or so, and on cutting them out it look like std silicone to me??

Cheers :)

Its probably called that because DIY bods wouldn't know which sealer to use as there are many, essentially its just 'low modulus neutral cure' silicone

indeed.. thats what I thought... okay, thanks... obviously the 'frame seal' is much more expensive than the std silicone ;)
