I'm still getting to grips with my Panasonic Super Drive VCR
I watch the odd thing, but nothing like as much as I used to. When there were only 3 or 4 channels there were lots of original, quality programs. Now there's thousands of channels of ssh!te. Reading through this thread, sounds like just watching the box is getting incredibly complicated.
But then lots of things are complicated. Czech friend went to the Springsteen concert in Prague on Sunday. He wanted to buy some merch. To do this he had to queue up before the concert to buy a wristband because it's all cashless. Then had to sync the band to an app on mobile, then queue up again (in common with us, Czechs like queueing) to preload the band with cash or from a card. The biggest con is if you put too much money on the band and don't use it all, you can't get it back. Gone are the days when you offer a crumpled note for a tour t-shirt. Don't think I could be arzed with all that.
