Freestanding Electric Oven

I am currently in a rental property & we have bought a free-standing oven for the kitchen.

It has been wired in correctly by an electrician but I am concerned that the oven is now standing on the fitted kitchen carpet.

Is this safe?

Do you mean 'cooker'?
If its a cooker, then on the carpet is not a problem.
