freezing kits

how good are these freezing kits for pipes,and can you solder anywhere near the freeze,i want too try it on microbore 10mm,any advice

an electric freezing kit you can solder but wont be much use on 10mm, if gas freezing you'll be lucky to solder near it with out the ice plug melting.
