This was an excellent Film , Highly recommended :)

I was expecting a *Hero*, *House of Flying Daggers* type chinky martial arts /fighting film an was pleasantly surprised that infact it was wasnt that type film ,
It is without giving too much away a Docu drama/soap
if you will type film ,
an boy does it have *family issues*..lol

Dont get me wrong there are some epic fight scenes ...
but this is more a slow social family drama ..
with which I thoroughly enjoyed ......
btw its subtitled as expexted but the on screen acting is fantastic from the leads an the Empress had me ,tears rolling down my cheeks ...
cracking acting an the plot twists , OMFG !!

a very good movie for film buffs 9/10 ;)

you cannot dismiss the voice of the man on the street , an Im that fella , I ticks every boxes ..


with best intentions Im sure your wife Caroline , an children will adore this adapations of the true storey of Emperor Pings dynasty ...

its Plays so much like a soap ...

an my tears were real
I felt for the charactors ....!
