A question for the Gas safe professionals - I'd like to put a fridge freezer in my cellar but the only place it can go would be next to the gas meter. Is this okay or a big no no? I've attached a photo for reference (please excuse the mess).

TIA

Clear access needed to test, service, read, emergency control valve etc without having to move a really heavy object, especially in an emergency.

Maybe move the shelves over a bit to make space to the left of them, that should still allow access?

Does the cellar get cold. Some fridge freezers have a minimum location temperature below which they will not operate properly. It should tell you in the user manual.

There is no safety reasons other than access why you cant put it there
