Hi

I have a frost stat connected to the baxi solo 2 boiler and it just keeps turning the central heating on all the damn time, and its not even that cold outside.

Is there anyway that I can temporarily disconnect the frost stat? and what could be the problem for this pattern?

Regards: EMtec

check the frost stat for operation, see if it has just been set too high and needs turning down a little, you can just disconnect the stat for normal boiler operation, howerver a speedy replacement would be a good idea.

A frost stat fires up the boiler when its ambiant temp is a few degrees over zero, to stop frost damaging your heating system/boiler, so without one your heating system can be damaged due to frost ;)

my opinion, turn it down or pop it off to check it is at fault, if it is replace it as soon as resonably possible..

Fit a pipe stat to turn the boiler off when the return water has reached 25 degrees.
Do not turn off the frost stat as it is there to protect the boiler. :D
