Gainsborough shower 10.5 lukewarm water

Our Gainsborough electric shower 10.5 decided to make a crackle noise and now only gives out lukewarm water.

Any Ideas how to repair ?

Without making major alterations to the inlet pipework and electrics, what other brands / models are available.

If it is making crackling noise, that would suggest you have a loose electrical connections or a damaged conductor, so that would require to investigate that first.
So you would need isolate circuit and prove dead prior to working on it, then inspect for loose/damaged cables within the shower unit. If you have damaged or burnt insulation or and cable, that would require cutting and stripping back to clean copper and good insulation, prior to reconnecting.

Once that has been done, re-energise and see if there are any improvements.
