Galaxi Aqua 4000si shower with low pressure light on

I have had my old shower removed 7.5kw and had it replace by a local plumber with a new Galaxy Aqua 4000i 8.5kw, however the shower has never worked and has always shown the low pressure light on, with only cold water coming out of the shower head. I have tested the pressure on the shower head and it shows 1 bar, is this enough for the shower to work effectively ? or is the shower pressure switch no good ?
unfortunately for one reason or another,the shower has been like this for many months, I have only now got the time and resources to try and put it right.
Any help would be most appreciated.

Is only the low pressure neon and not the auto reset aswell ?
sounds like you maybe on the border line of low pressure mains needed to operate the shower.

Being as this shower is a new install ring galaxy on 0845 600 5111
as this shower has a 2 yr warranty.
