There is a common problem with these that the control knob becomes very stiff to turn off. There is a new seal kit available.

Has anyone succeeded to loosen it by descaling or by dismantling and greasing?

Surely someone has tried this?

I haven't done this shower but by looking at parts diagram, it look easy, unscrew 3 screws, pull out and overhaul and grease o rings and refit. I have done before on Mira mixer shower.

Daniel.

What problem were you fixing?

Most shower problems are caused by leaking.

This one does not leak but is just too tight to turn off unless its a strong man!
