I have recently noticed that one of our windows has a gap between the inner seal that is quite large and is allowing air in from outside.
After inspecting the other windows in the house they all seem to have a gap in the same place which is towards the middle of the window which in my opinion is not ideal (some larger than others) but on this window i can hear outside noise and its causing condensation and mould.
I have included some pics to makes things easier and i have inspected the hook and block and they seem fine, after all the windows are not even 4 years old yet.
Is there any way i can adjust the windows to close the gap?

Its actually quite common on tall top hung and side hung openers, as you know there is nothing in the centre area to pull the sash tight onto the rubbers, my only suggestion is to cut the silicone on the outside and inside, take any fixing screws out in the centre of the frame (if any) leaving the top and bottom ones in and then with a bolster chisel in between the frame and plaster or trim in your case bend the centre of the frame outwards to suit the sash, then force a packer in the gap and seal over.

for an easier solution go on ebay and search for sash seal wedges they are springs that fix to the sash (opener) and plastic wedges that sit on the frame and when you close the spring runs up against the plastic block pushing it back against the seal about £20 for 25 sets enough to do all your offending windows i use them regularly probably need a couple of sets per sash as yours are quite large :)

So they should be ok with my type of window as they have a friction stay top and bottom?

Thanks for the help so far, i didn't expect anyone to answer this one :D
