Garage roof leaking

Hi all..got a pitched felt garage roof which has been repaired previously (not by myself) and the back end of it has now come away from it's seal and looks like a pack of wolves has been chewing it. As a result, it's leaking at that end.

Whats the best course of action with this...rip the rubbish bit off and buy some new membrane and felt, nail it and reseal it?

Any advice would be much appreciated!

yep before you have to replace the board too....re-felting will be 50% less than replacing the decking aswell.
