Gardtec 300 Query

Hey,

Hoping for some help, moved into a new home about 8 months ago with a Gardtec 300 alarm systems installed, it’s been working absolutely fine up until today.

When I set the alarm to leave the house, I enter the code and it does its usual beeping to allow me to get out the house and lock up, power light is green, day is on red, and then it flashes between Z1 Remove/Z2 Test.

Once the door is shut, it’s bleeps as normal for a bit, I wait for it to go silent, but instead it just goes back to alarming as if I’ve just tried setting it again, waiting for me to leave. When this occurs it just has Z1/Remove lit up constantly till I enter the code.

Sorry for the idiotic explanation, completely new to dealing with these systems and understand this is quite an old one. Can anyone advise?

What would the the usual course of action be to fix this? I can’t work out any immediate triggers.

depends on what zone one is.

if you link the zone out at the panel does it still cause an issue?

Is there a contact on your exit door?, if so give it a few sharp taps, sometimes they can stick causing the system to not see the door shutting.
