Gas cooker not working

The gas bob on the cooker works fine, but the grill and oven dont seem to work.

Will this be down to poor cleaning as i imagine it will be very dirty ?

It is in a rented house and i havent been out to it yet.

Gas appliances need to be maintained/repaired by gas safe engineers, especially so as it is a rented property, I would have thought.

Not providing the make and model, it's very difficult to give you any advice.
If you're gassafe, then go to it and if you can't fix it, come back via the CC.
