Your gas safe engineer will know!! it really isn't a good idea to DIY anything gas wise.
No, it's not difficult at all but if it's not burning correctly when it's refitted, it could create excessive CO.
Ultimately it's your shout of course but as far as the forum it concerned, DIY gas advice isn't allowed.
If you want to add any kind of sealant to hob injectors LPG or Nat gas, proves you havent a clue what you are doing, leave it alone
