I am about to change my boiler and hot water tank for a 28KW condensing combi system. My existing gas supply to my existing boiler is via a 15mm copper pipe will this be sufficent for the new boiler as it has a 15mm inlet.

Thanks PLT

It all depends on the boiler power and distance of gas run and number of elbows. It will need to be in at least 22 mm possibly larger!

But the gas reg boiler installer will know whats required.

I had an idea it would need to be 22mm or larger. The gas comes into the house via 22mm but reduces ro 15mm just inside then runs upstairs to the old boiler in 15mm pipe. Luckily enough its not a big job to run a new pipe just wondered as new boiler has 15mm inlet. I take it that the new 22mm will ruduce to 15mm just before the new boiler inlet.

Thanks PLT
