gassy/airy water

whats the reason for airy(slightly milky colured) water from the mains....
its air...it takes a few minutes to clear in a glass..
whats the reason and can it be cured ?

Call the water board, they will test it.

I had this same problem a few months ago, especially on the hot. How is your pressure ? Mine was very high, about 6.5 bar,. I installed a pressure reducing valve taking the pressure down to 3 bar and this sorted the problem.

not my water....
friends pressure not tested.
the water board told her it was air pocket ?..hhmmmmmm
