I have the GFAN412T fan in my bathroom and when I switch it off the timer runs on for a very long time afterwards.
can anyone tell me how to adjust the timer settings on it.
Cheers and Kind regards

That will be it - it is the transformer, of course, which has the permanent and switched live supply, so it is the transformer, of course, which contains the timed-overrun circuitry. All the fan has is a 12V motor.

To have the timer in the fan would require a ridiculous amount of complexity in signalling and require more cabling between the transformer and the fan.

Thanks for the reply,
I know nothing about this sort of thing of course, thats why I asked the question
Regards

If your bathroom contains a shower, you will want that fan to run on for 20-30minutes to ensure sufficient ventillation
