Hi all, I have had this inline fan fitted for a few years but have to keep going into the loft to empty the ducting of water (winter only). I have read that this model has a timer but mine switches off when you turn the power off? I took the lid off the fan expecting to find a dial to adjust the timer but not sure what I'm looking at. Can anyone tell me if there is a way to keep it running after it's turned off? Picture included.

It is not wired for timer operation.

Can you tell us where the two cables come from?
Pictures of the terminations at the other ends would help.

One goes off to the light on the intake and the other connected to the light switch

Ok - really need to see how it is connected.

In the meantime - just try removing the brown link wire and see what happens.

Ok, in your opinion looking at the circuit board is there anything on there that can adjust the time?

Yes, but it is not wired properly.

It might work after removing the link wire but can't really tell.

I found this if it helps? And Thanks for your time.

Thanks for all your help, I will let you know how I get on.

Looks like a T&E from the switched supply, with another T&E to the light.
Removing the link will just stop the light working.

Rewiring necessary if you want the timer to work.

Thanks, maybe out of my depth here. I will get a electrician to look at it.
