I have just moved into a house which has the above unit fitted. According to the manual, it's a "Combined Primary Storage Unit (CPSU) for Domestic Hot Water Supply and Central Heating". A little different to a standard combi-boiler, given that it has a thermal store.

The system pressure on the boiler has been gradually dropping, and it's now sitting pretty much on zero - it does still seem to be working fine though.

The boiler doesn't have a standard filling loop, it's connected permanently into the mains water supply via a pressure limiting device.

Given that there's no filling loop - how would I raise the pressure of the system back up to 1.0 bar? I wonder if something has failed for it to get so low...

The service manual is here (I have the sealed version):

I'm sure people here will be able to make more sense out of it than me!

Thanks.
