I wish to drain down boiler to clean pressure switch on Glow Worm Flexicom 18sx boiler, but which drain valve would I use as there are two, one on flow and one on return? Also is the pressure switch easy to remove and reinstall?

That's why I want to remove it, to clean out the muck which is causing F9 fault for which I constantly need to jack up the pressure slightly. It's at 2bar from cold now.

My experience is that most become faulty and need to be replaced.

Usually actually working but having an offset reading.

Muck only slows down the response.

Job done today. Switch wasn't that dirty. Some particles came out but nothing drastic. Operating pressure is back to something more sensible, 1.4bar.

If blocked its often more so on the boiler side of where the sensor sits!
