How can I operate the heating at the boiler when the remote is temporarily broken?

Climapro2 but it's screen is completely blank, the heating is running but at the boiler I turn the thermostat down but "no" is displayed at the heating carries on

If you've tried the batteries then unfortunately you'll need the climapro replaced by a GSR engineer. Not sure how long you've had it but they do have a 2 year warranty normally.

PS, just double check you've got the batteries in right, the legend on the back isn't exactly clear and I've done this faux pas before....

Okay I'll get an engineer tomorrow, in the meantime how can I turn the heating off?

I don't think you can, the climapro "blocks" any input on the front of the boiler..... You could turn the entire boiler off or turn all but one of the rads off as a "get you out of trouble"
