Thanks for reading this.
After a complete CH drain and adding X400 to the open feed tank and refilling system, and bleeding all radiators, our Flexicom hx18 (product variant 5) will not run for more than a few seconds or minutes, showing F11, F22 and, less often, F25.
Thermistors are well fitted and returning apparently real temperatures. But, for hours now, the boiler reports its status code as s.98, the self-check phase normally entered upon startup.
In the heating phase, the heat exchanger gets hot but the output flow increases in temperature rather slower.
Pump is working though, when I bleed it, there is much rubbish inside. And I have needed to twist it internally with a screwdriver to restart it once or twice, because the X400 seems to have released so much muck.
What should I do? Another empty and refill? And should I do anything to the boiler to get past the self test? Both thermistors seem to give sensible readings.
