hello, my boyfriend has replaced the thermocouple on our boiler as the pilot wasnt lighting, however this hasnt made a difference the pilot still wont stay lit. he has only recently qualified and doesnt have the experience yet to sort it out. so it looks like wel have to get an engineer in. it is a honeywell valve with a grey push button. what could the possible problems be and how would they be rectified. thankyou.

Such a simple boiler, and should be easy to fix. Get him to register on the Combustion chamber section of this site for some advice.
