Google Earth!

Please, could someone give me an idiot-proof guide on how to use Google Earth. I'm at my wits end!

I'm trying to zoom in on a few addresses in UK and mainland Europe. In most cases I can give the entire address but a message comes up saying "Your search returned no results"!

Please help if you can.

What I do if I know the Postcode is to type it in the 'Fly to' box and click the magnifying glass.
