Gravity Fed Hot Water Out Of One Tap Only At A Time..????

I am in a hard water area.

My usual plumber is no spring chicken either and luckily he doesn't wear a 'chav cap'.

Ok from what you've told me so far I understand that we have got an 'Airlock' that needs attention in the first instance. It also appears that some of the system pipework from the cylinder may need replacement and also the new fangled small bore taps need to be replaced with more suitable models.

It also appears that a system pump is the very last alternative if all else fails.

Gentlemen, in your opinion have I reached an understanding of this problem correctly...? Is there anything else that should be pinpointed whilst attending to this situation....?

Thank You for your interest, I appreciate the replies, the guidance and your honesty.

If you have high pressure taps on a gravity system then it ain't going to work very well anyway, again your plumber should know this

Still think you should check out your mans credentials.

If you have small bore taps they would affect each other LESS than higher-flow ones would.
