In our hot water solar system we have a "pressure" release valve, although the system is not really running high pressures.
Anyway as the system is 18years old, we had/have some grit from decayed antifreeze in the system. The antifreeze is replaced and clear again and the system was flushed, although the grit probally sits and collected in the small channels of the collector.
The problem is, that a release valve which has never leaked much fluid out is now allowing some ml and a collection bottle is slowly filling.
Is there a way to service / clean a release valve seating or is it a matter of a new valve?
