Hi.
I've had a Grohtherm wireless lp shower installed for a few years. Let out the house for a year & coming back in, have noticed a problem with the shower. It seems to work ok, other than the temperature doesn't seem to 'lock' - 38 degrees flashes as normal when you turn it on but continues to flash. Any ideas? Do I need to reset anything?
Had a few problems when it was first installed & was given instructions on resetting things - i.e. holding in a couple of buttons & then going through menue to change things but now of course I can't remember how to do it!
Many thanks for any advice

The remote should flash until the desired temp is reached.
sounds like yours is not reaching 38 degrees.

i would start with the basics of cleaning the inlet filers to the unit.

Hi, thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately, tried that but didn't work. Even if the temperature is turned down lower, it still won't 'lock' on it. Any other ideas? Does anything need re-setting?

Will do. Don't get properly back into the house again till 17th, so will let you know after that, cheers.

Still got problem I'm afraid - unit now showing Service code 12 - any idea what that might mean & how to fix it?
Cheers

Error code 12 is main unit to cold. which is hard to believe in this weather.
only seen that code in winter times.

Did give Grohe a call but not very informative. They did however, offer to send out a replacement main controller to see if that would fix the problem....
