Grundfos pumps

Any other boiler manufacture field service engineers or Bg workers experienceing a large failure rate of Grundfos pumps on combis or system boilers...Seems to be a shortage of replacement pumps available as well.
Dont know how true it is but i heard Vaillant were suing them..could be interesting

Heard nowt of the sort and I havent replaced a Grunny on a combi for years let alone a new one

not heard anything either. even the BG Grundfos Multi-G pumps seem decent if a little underpowered for some situations.

what on earth are vaillant going to use instead?.....id rather pump a system by hand than use anything other than a grundfos

Alpha buy their parts just in time so they never have many of a single batch. Any problems are limited.

I have one spare grundfos Alpha pump but haven't needed it.
