i have a pump as stated in the title, this has started to become a little noisy

should i replace this ?

i dont actually know what it is for and its purpose

How acute is your hearing?
A dripping tap can keep me awake :-/

do you know when your radiators were last cleaned and inhibitor added? How often do they need bleeding?

property is 25 years old but only lived here 4 years so dont know how old it is

probably the bearings are worn. this happens with age but worse of there are corrosion particles in the water.

turn the speed down, verify if it still works OK.

It should be installed so the motor shaft (running between the two round faces) is exactly horizontal. Is it?
