Gurgling Radiators!

Hi,

We have just moved into a new house which has a gravity fed central heating system. System seems OK although there is no room thermostat and no temperature control on the radiators themselves so it is hot!

The main problem seems to be when the system is running loud gurgling noises can be heard coming from all the rads!, I have checked them all for air and they are hot from top to bottom.

Any ideas what the gurgling is and how it could be cured?

A new house; get the builders back in..

When I said a new house I meant newer than what we had before!

The house is around 30 years old, not sure how long the current system has been installed for.

try turning the pump down could be turbulence

Not sure what speed the pump is running at so will check that out tonight.
