Machine won't spin. Washes and drains fine, no blockages. Motor brushes are fine.
If you put it (empty) into spin mode, it sits and pumps for about 5 minutes whilst turning slowly, even though there's no water left. Then it gives up. The motor never ramps up to a fast speed, it's literally the turn-the-washing-over speed.
Nothing else seems amiss.
Could this be the pressure switch? Machine thinking it's still full?
Only thing makes me think it's not is that the door still opens after a couple of minutes after turning machine off. Is the door lock normally operated off the same pressure switch?
thanks for any pointers.
