Hi, I have a hairline crack in the ceiling above my shower which goes straight across the ceiling. I had originally painted with bathroom paint. Will this crack cover if I give it a fresh coat of the same paint? Thanks

Probably the tape joint on the plaster board, possible that the plasterer didnt tape the joint properly
Will always be a problem, contraction and expansion, best to just fill it with fine surface filler every time it opens, rather than retape and replaster,
